Director Bharathiraja who is known for his films that have rustic backdrops, says that his new film too has village setting. Titled ‘Annakodiyum Kodiveeranum’, the shooting of the film is on in full swing. The film has already been in the news for its cast that kept on changing after the initial announcements.

Parthiban who was initially supposed to do the male lead role in the film was later substituted by Ameer Sultan, who was seen in films like ‘Yogi’. Karthika Nair plays the female lead role, while Iniya who impressed Bharathiraja with her performance in ‘Vaagai Sooda Vaa’ would be seen in another key role in the film. Lakshman Narayan, Meenal and Roja form the supporting cast.

The musical score of the film has been composed by G V Prakash Kumar. Gangai Amaran and Vairamuthu have penned the lyrics. Cinematography is by Kannan. ‘Annakodiyum Kodiveeranum’ would make it to the theatres soon.
