Jalpari (2012) Hindi Movie Preview

‘Jalpari’ is a  film that has been directed by Nila Madhab Panda, the director of the award winning film ‘I Am Kalam’ that was screened at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. The film stars Parvin Dabas, Tannishtha Chatterjee and Suhasini Mulay in the lead roles.

‘Jalpari’ was screened at the Marche Du Cannes (Film Market) of the Cannes Film Festival this year. The film that reportedly deals with the issue of female foeticide had generated much interest among the prospective buyers at Cannes. Lehar Khan and Krishang Trivedi are the two child protagonists in the film, while Harsh Mayar who had done the lead role in ‘I Am Kalam’ would be seen in a key role in the film as well.

‘Jalpari’ has been produced by Sushilkumar Agrawal of Ultra Distributors Pvt. Ltd. The film will be released in theatres across the country on July 20, 2012.
