Submitted by on July 4, 2012 – 5:02 pmNo Comment |

‘Mugamoodi’ , the Tamil superhero film, has been written and directed by Myshkin and stars Jiiva, Pooja Hegde and Narain in lead roles. The film, as is the case with most superhero films is about a man who cannot tolerate injustice and corruption and fights against it for a better society.

It was in 2008 that the film was first announced with Surya in the lead, and later when the actor opted out of the film, it was almost shelved. We also heard of Vishal and Arya walking into the project, and even heard a change in the director, and ultimately it was Jiiva who was roped in to do the role.

The film will have music by Krishnakumar and cinematography by Satya. The shoot of the film commenced in September 2011, and the film is expected to release by August 31st, 2012. ‘Mugamoodi’ has been produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur under the banner of UTV Motion Pictures.
