‘Naan’ is a Tamil crime thriller film that has been directed by Jeeva Shankar starring Vijay Antony in the lead role, who has also produced the film and composed the music. Anuya Bhagwat is the heroine. Siddharth Venugopal and Rupa Manjari would be seen in supporting roles in the film.

The film was originally launched in 2008 with a different cast, which was shelved later. In 2010 however it was relaunched with Vijay Antony in the lead. The film was submitted to the Censor Board recently, and has emerged with a U/A certificate.

Vijay Antony had started his work as a music director in the movie called ‘Dishyum’ which was a run-away success. ‘Naan’ which is the twenty fifth film that Vijay Antony had worked in, has been produced under the banner of Vijay Antony Corporation.
