Udhayanidhi Stalin’s ‘Oru Kal Oru Kannadi’ ready for release

Trisha, Nayantara and Shruti Hassan were initally rumored to play the lead role in the film ‘Oru Kal Oru Kannadi’, but eventually it was Hansika Motwani who got to play the female lead in the film. The film that has been directed by M Rajesh would make it to the theatres on the 13th of April, 2012.

‘Oru Kal Oru Kannadi’ also stars Udhayanidhi Stalin, the producer himself making his acting debut. along with Santhanam. Balasubrahmanyam has wielded the camera, while Harris Jayaraj has composed the musical score. The audio launch was held at the Sathyam Cinemas on 5 March 2012. Actors Karthi, Surya, Jeeva and Arya were present at the event. A three minute trailer and song sequences was screened for the guests and media people as well. Editing is by Vivek Harshan.

The film has been shot on locations at Chennai and also at foreign locations at Jordan and Dubai. The romantic comedyhas been named after a song in Rajesh’s directorial debut film ‘Siva Manasula Sakthi’.
