Eppadi Manasukkul Vandhai (2012) Tamil Movie Review Aggregator

Poster 191x300 Eppadi Manasukkul Vandhai (2012) Tamil Movie Review AggregatorP V Prasath, who had made his directorial debut with the film ‘Kadhalil Vizhunthen’, is back with his new film ‘Eppadi Manasukkul Vandhai’. Starring Tanvi Vyas, Vishwa and Irfan in the lead roles, the film has opened this Friday, to mixed reviews.

Sify calls it below average: “The films packaging is what catches our eye with great camera work, rich locations and hummable tunes but sadly lacks a cohesive script and drags big time especially the long drawn out climax. The story has been written probably on the sets to weave in essential ingredients and to make the stalker hero look smart and daring.”

Behind Woods says it might qualify for time-pass: “Eppadi Manasukkul Vandhai has traces of Kadhalil Vizhundhen but it’s not the same love story. It has its heart in its place and the fact that Prasad has peppered it with enough plot twists and turns makes it worth a watch. It’s an engagingly shot, albeit not brilliantly performed, movie that might provide good time pass.”

The Hindu says its a mixed bag all right: “EMV doesn’t hold the viewer’s attention completely, mainly because Prasath has allowed ample space for avoidable elements.”
