‘Ferrari Ki Sawaari’ directed by Rajesh Mapuskar and written by Neeraj Vora and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, stars Sharman Joshi in the lead. The film that was released on June 15, 2012 has opened to good reviews.

Rediff thinks its a feel-good film: “This is director Rajesh Mapuskar’s first outing as a director and he should be given full credit for a screenplay which steers clear of subplots, sexist jokes or the general paraphernalia foisted on hoping to make the film a hit. The story zigzags between real, fantasy and make-believe and bizarre co-incidences which is a formidable task for any director leave alone a first timer.”

DNA India feels its fairly enjoyable: “Tailor-made to elicit a few tears and a little laughter, Ferrari Ki Sawaari is worth a watch for Sirohi, Sharman and some genuinely sweet moments.”

IBN Live terms it competently assembled: “Like the Munnabhai movies and 3 Idiots with which it shares its DNA, Ferrari Ki Sawaari is a well-intentioned film with its heart positioned firmly in the right place. And yet, this simple-minded tale about an ordinary family chasing an extraordinary dream never quite soars.”
