Along with the Amazing Spider Man, there are a bunch of super heroews who have made it to the Indian screens this week. Titled ‘Supermen of Malegaon’, the film that has been directed by Faiza Ahmad Khan has been well received by the critics. Going by their opinions, this one looks like a must watch all right, folks!

Rediff asks us to watch this one without fail: “There are a lot of big names playing in the theatres this week. Forget them. Watch Supermen of Malegaon instead. This kind of film happens once in a decade or less often. And if you don’t like it, then it can only mean that films were never really your thing in the first place.”

DNA India says there is not a single dull moment in it: “There’s not a single dull moment in Supermen of Malegaon. Considering the notoriety documentaries have for being serious, informative and even didactic, Faiza Ahmed should be applauded for making an observational film that is so real yet so enjoyable.”

Bollywood Trade feels that such films need to be encouraged: “We assign five stars to the film, and one of these is for PVR’s Directors Rare initiative. Keep it up PVR. It is a wiser and saner option than producing films like SHANGHAI and throwing precious resources down the drain.”
