‘Thadaiyara Thaakka’, the Tamil action film directed by Magizh Thirumeni who had earlier directed ‘Mundhinam Paartheney’,  stars Arun Vijay and Mamta Mohandas. The film that has been released today has opened to reviews. Here is what the critics have to say about the film.

Behind Woods thinks its a mixed bag all right: “Credible characters, fairly good screen play and neat performances are the factors that work for TT.  However there are a few snag moments in the second half when the script’s journey appears a bit meandering.”

Sify calls it a racy taut thriller: “Director Magizh Thirumeni’s Thadayara Thaakka is a fast moving action packedfilm with lots of twists and turns. It works largely due to its presentation and high-speed editing of Praveen and Srikanth.”

Nowrunning feels its an action thriller that is worth a watch: “Thadaiayara Thaakka is one of the better Kollywood movies to release this year. It brings back memories of last year’s Rowthiram, not just in look and feel but in its perspective on the crime world. Both films show thugs working within an empire, not as a bunch of random villains.”
