And now a film on Shahid Afridi!

There have been several films of late, that have taken up themes based on sports and sportsmen, and the latest news that we hear is that a film is being planned on Shahid Afridi.

Its not a Bollywood film that would be made on the Pak cricketer . A film that has been titled ‘Main Hoon Shahid Afridi’ is reportedly being made in Paksitan that would be based on the life of the Pakistani cricketer and that would star Noman Habib in the main role.

‘Main Hoon Shahid Afridi’ is being directed by Osman Ali Raza and would be produced by Humayun Saeed and Shahzad Nasib.

Between 1996 and 2012, Afridi played 27 Tests, 334 One Day Internationals, and 46 Twenty20 Internationals for the Pakistani national team. He is known for his aggressive batting style, and holds the record for the fastest ODI century which he made in his first international innings, as well as scoring 32 runs in a single over, the second highest scoring over ever in an ODI.
