‘Narasimha’ the Kannada remake of the Telugu film ‘Simharaasi’ that stars Ravichandran in the lead role has been released. Reviews range from average to bad. Take a look!

Rediff thinks its strictly for Ravichandran’s fans: “Director Mohan, who had made Krishna Nee Lateaagi Baaro, is better at comedies where his timing is impeccable. This film falls short of expectations but it is likely to appeal to Ravichandran’s fans in the rural pockets.”

Times of AP doesn’t sound impressed: “The film ‘Narasimha’ is very relevant for one thing. The political point it makes. An elected member should completely work for people from where is get elected is still relevant. This is only matching point for the film that is coming after 11 years to Kannada from Telugu.”

Times of India on the contrary, sounds quite pleased: ” S Mohan is a talented actor and director. In his latest venture, he has selected a romantic story which is unlikely to appeal to Youngistan, but Ravichandran fans may go crazy over the Crazy Star’s performance. Dector S Mohan gets full marks for narration and making of ‘Narasimha’.”
