Shikari: The Hunt Within to be released on March 6th

Submitted by on March 4, 2012 – 10:45 amNo Comment | 87 views

Shikari is Mammootty’s bilingual film in Kannada and Malayalam that has been directed by National Award winning director Abhay Simha. Poonam Bajwa is Mammootty’s heroine in the film.

Apparently, Mammootty, who had turned down several offers from Kannada even earlier was absolutely impressed by Abhay Simha’s script that he immediately gave the film a nod. Abhay is the director of the film ‘Gubbachchigalu’ that had won the National Award for Best Children’s Film.

Mammootty plays a double role in the film, and has lent his own voice. Shikari has two versions – Kannada and Malayalam – and has been shot on beautiful locations at Bangalore and Mysore. Adithya, Mohan, Neenasam Aswath, Achyutha, Sihi Kahi Chandru, Tini Tom and Suresh Krishna offer support. The film would grace the screens on the 6th of March, 2012.
