Amal Neerad wo has just released his film ‘Bachelor Party’ doesn’t seem to have been able to please the critics much. Reviews range from average to negative.

Rediff calls it unbearable: “In the end, we are left with the feeling that director Amal Neerad has stretched his style of filmmaking to unbearable and disappointing levels in Bachelor Party.”

Nowrunning feels the film doesn’t serve any purpose at all: “‘Bachelor Party’ has one of the shakiest scripts that I have seen in recent times, and by shaky, I mean the kind that is decrepit and literally falling to piecesThere is just one purpose that this party has served. It makes me want to really swear. Oh yeah, f**k!

Sify finds it ‘average’: “What was cinematographer and director Amal Neerad trying to say, with his latest film, Bachelor Party? Well, chances are that you may have no clues about his intentions, even after you sit in disbelief watching Padmapriya gyrate to some silly tune, as the end titles roll in a corner.”

IBN Live thinks it’s watchable: “At times, the film tries to make fun of everything from the director for his slow paced frames to the clichéd film makers. But the next moment it falls into big trench of nonsense.”
