220371 225877857540002 565247725 o 166x300 Banking Hours (2012) Malayalam Movie Review Aggregator‘Banking Hours’, K Madhu’s new film that has been set against the backdrop of a bank has been released. The film stars Anoop Menon, Meghna Raj, Shafna, Jishnu Raghavan, Tini Tom, Lekshmipriya and several other leading actors. Reviews soundd quite average though.

Nowrunning says the film does not pay off as promised: “Things do look pretty much screwed up, and within no time the film itself ends up like the badly planned heist job that we get to see on screen. Banking Hours’ lacks that vital spark that should keep the spirit up in whodunits. Despite being set in a bank, it’s ironic that the film never pays off, as it promises.”

Sify says its watchable: “Banking Hours 10-4 may leave the discerning viewers with many doubts but could well be an entertaining one, if you don’t dig too deep or go without much expectation. Now decide on which side you belong!”

Kerala 9 says things could have been better: “Agreed that the pace and other things don’t match with that of K Madhu’s most famous ‘CBI Diarykurippu’ series, but this no doubt is what you expect from K Madhu and the new generation stars. But, had it been a bit more pacy, the film would have been a better watch.”
