Arun Kumar Aravind’s new film ‘Ee Adutha Kaalathu’ that was released yesterday has opened to a fantastic response. The Balcony Beats team caught up with the film at Trivandrum Kairali yesterday, and from the looks of it, the industry has got another hit already, barely two months into 2012!

The film that has an ensemble cast of Indrajith, Tanushree Ghosh, Mythili, Murali Gopi, Nishan, Anoop Menon, Lena and several other prominent actors, is a thriller, that has broken up the conventional modes of story telling. We got to talk with a few members of the audience after the show, who were all excited about the film that they got to see.

Said Shine who is a B.Tech student and an avid  film enthusiast, “The new age Malayalam cinema has finally arrived! Congrats to the entire team behind EAK.” Manoj, a government employee added, “Its good to see film makers in Malayalam experimenting with new ideas and themes. It could only get better from here!”

Yes, from the looks of it, good times are indeed lying ahead!
