Kalabhavan Mani surrenders before the police!

Judicial First Class Magistrate K P Sunil will seek evidence from actor Jayaram, in connection with a copyright infringement complaint that has been filed against the makers of the film Malayalam ‘Happy Husbands’.

Besides Jayaram, the complainant has also included producer Milan Jaleel, director Saji Surendran, scenarist Krishna Poojappura and actors Jayasurya, Bhavana, Samvrutha Sunil and Rima Kallingal in the copyright infringement complaint.

The complaint alleges that the film ‘Happy Husbands’ had made use of the script of the Bollywood film ‘No Entry’ without acquiring proper copyrights from the original producers. The film that told the story of infidel husbands caught in a web of confusion along with their wives was a runaway hit. It was released in 2010.
