The speculations as to who would take over the mantle and empire from the emperor Mammootty in ‘Samrajyam 2′ has been doing the rounds for quite a while now.

The makers finally revealed in a grand event that was held yesterday that it would be neither Dulquar Salman or Prithviraj or Arya, but young star Unni Mukundan who would play the role. Unni himself made a grand entry at the spectacular launch session.

The film is being directed by Perarasu, and support is already flowing in for Unni Mukundan. Tweeted Dulquar himself the other day, “Son of Alexander will be played by a close friend of mine and one of the nicest guys I have  known. I’m positive he will do full justice to the role.”
