Kaithapram questioned by the Crime Branch police
Renowned lyricist and music composer Kaithapram Damodaran Namboothiri was reportedly questioned by the Crime Branch police in connection with a complaint that has been lodged against him. An individual had complained that following the Marad carnage that took place in 2003, Kaithapram had allegedly visited the area with financial aid within a week, on behalf of a Dubai based business man.
Kaithapram had however made it clear that he had done the same only as a socially responsible citizen, and that he had no other intentions whatsoever behind the act. It was about four months back that Kaithapram was questioned by the police. The famous musician had then even lodged a complaint against the Crime Branch police at the Chief Minister’s office, alleging that he was being harassed by the police.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Kaithapram’s directorial debut in Malayalam, a film that has been titled ‘Mazhavillinattam Vare’ is ready for release, and would soon grace the screens.
