Major Ravi’s Mohanlal film ‘Karma Yodha’ seems to have carried across a message, but apparently leaves a lot to be desired as a film. Critics sound quite dejected. Here is what they have to say.

Sify calls it plain disappointing: “Karmayodha is meant for those who leave their brains back home, while going for movies. For the discerning viewers, well, Mohanlal has done several superb films that can make you stunned any day. Decide on your own now.”

India Glitz says the film is strictly for Mohanlal fans: “In the final count, this Karmayodha may satisfy the die-hard Mohanlal fans. And the collections may pour in for the first few days and for the rest, no guarantees can be made.”

Nowrunning says its average fare: “Given the immense relevance of the theme to our times the director could not have hoped for a better comeback vehicle. Intentions were well and good, but the end product proved to be a shot that missed the bull’s eye and is a movie that is good only in parts.”
