Kerala Box Office: Mallu Singh overtakes the Grand Master!
‘Mallu Singh’ might have been a film that has been panned by the critics, but looks like the Singh is having the last laugh at the Kerala box office. The box office collections of the film after last weekend, suggest a gross collection of 7 crores, overtaking the Mohanlal starrer ‘Grand Master’ that has collected a gross of 6.7 crores!
‘Diamond Necklace’ has collected a gross of 2.9 crores, but has already been certified as a hit. Another film of Fahad Fazil, ’22 F Kottayam’ has garnered a gross collection of 4.5 crores, and is a hit as well.
However, its the Dileep starrer ‘Mayamohini’ that has truly emerged to be the blockbuster of the year. The film has collected 19.25 crores already, and should undoubtedly be one of the biggest hits in Dileep’s career as yet. And what’s more, even with the influx of few releases, the film has managed to maintain full houses consistently in most of the releasing centers!

how can v compare grand master and mallu singh?mallu singh most pathetic film i have ever seen……………families are avoiding good movies and encouraging movies like mayamohini and mallu singh….pramote grand master,22 fk ,diamond necklace………….
We are not comparing the quality of the two films here. We have discussed instead the box office collections of the two films. We do not believe in film promotions either. Good films are bound to run, irrespective of the promotions.

mallu singh is a good entertainer.more over it brings a new actor unni mukundan who is capable of giving a tough competition to prithviraj to become the next superstar of malluwood.his fight and dance are awesome
