Submitted by on May 7, 2012 – 4:59 pmNo Comment |

‘Mallu Singh’ that has been directed by Vyshakh, that stars Unni Mukundan in the title role along with Kunchacko Boban, Biju Menon and Manoj K Jayan has been released. All the stars haven’t been able to save the film, and the reviews have been generally negative to average.

Nowrunning says that the film disappoints you on multiple levels: “‘Mallu Singh’ disappoints you on multiple levels; regarding the story, the script and above everything else in its failure to proffer its talented lead actor a challenging role that could have made a whole lot of a difference.”

Sify seems caught midway through: “Mallu Singh could be appealing in parts for those viewers who are there just for fun, without much logic. For the rest, here is one movie with lots of style but no substance at all. Decide the category to which you belong, before heading for this one. “

India Glitz says its a masala entertainer, which we suppose is equal to good: “If you can withstand it overused plot and execution, ‘Mallu Singh’ is definitely a clean entertainer which can provide you with an entertaining watch. The vacation time will prove a boon to the film, which promises unlimited fun in its posters.”
