My Boss (2012) Malayalam Movie Review Aggregator

Submitted by on November 12, 2012 – 4:31 pmNo Comment |

Jeethu Joseph’s new film ‘My Boss’ that stars Dileep and Mamta Mohandas has opened fantastically well, and has earned the name of a time pass comedy. Critics have very average opinions of the film though.

Nowrunning feels the discerning viewer will have to wait further: “Jeethu Joseph’s ‘My Boss’ doesn’t have any surprises in store for you. Despite the forced fun titbits that make up the film, it remains fundamentally formulaic when it comes to its construction and quite middling when it comes to the execution.”

Rediff thinks it gets tedious at times: “Gender wars have always been a fertile ground for humour. But the game of one-upmanship between the sexes is sometimes tedious and unacceptable as in director Jeethu Joseph’s latest Malayalam film My Boss starring Dileep and Mamta Mohandas.”

Sify calls it a masala entertainer: “With a brisk pace that barely gives much time to think, My Boss could be an entertaining affair, especially if you are not too bothered about the film’s inspirations and other nuances. “
