Parudeesa35178 195x300 Parudeesa (2012) Malayalam Movie Review AggregatorSarath, who has directed nationally acclaimed films like ‘Sayahnam’ is back with his latest film ‘Parudeesa’ that stars Thampy Antony, Sreenivasan, Nandu and Swetha Menon in the lead roles. Critics do not sound much impressed with what they say onscreen.

Nowrunning says the paradise still remains an enigma: “The attempts to link together religious and political ideologies have also been made, and it has even been suggested that the savior himself had dreamt of a socialist society. All said and done, the paradise still remains an enigma, and salvation appears as unfathomable as it has always been.”

Sify says searching for the interesting moments is a taxing exercise: “Parudeesa (meaning ‘paradise’) has some worthy moments here and there, but spending two hours searching for them is perhaps far from exciting. There are some films that make you feel like in paradise with its eminence, but this one is not one of them.”
