Proposed ‘Simhasanam’release this week takes the trade by surprise!

Submitted by on August 7, 2012 – 2:45 pmNo Comment | 98 views

‘Simhasanam’ that was expected to arrive last month, had been postponed due to the non-availability of theatres. Shaji Kailas would now be releasing his film on August 10.

This decision of the director has taken the trade by total surprise, since no film is usually released during the fasting season of Ramzan, especially in the Malabar areas of the state.

Shaji Kailas must be hoping for a decent turn out for the film during the week, since the films that could give it a competition are very few. With Ramzan however, there would be several new releases like ‘Run Baby Run’ and ‘Thaappana’.
