Kalabhavan Mani surrenders before the police!

Expectations about Ranjith’s new film ‘Spirit’ have rocketed sky high, and its not just because its a Ranjith film; its also because the film marks the coming together of the director with Mohanlal after a few years, the last film for which they had teamed together being ‘Rock ‘n Roll’.

‘Spirit’, we hear is not a film that would oppose the use of liquor. Rather, it would be one of those films that lays bare before the viewer, how it is that alcohol influences the life and personality of an individual. It would analyse one of the gravest social concerns of the day.

Along with Mohanlal, ‘Spirit’ would have Thilakan, Shanker Ramakrishnan and Kaniha playing key roles. Venu has captured the film on camera, and those who have had the opportunity to watch the preview, have come out of the cinema halls tremendously impressed. ‘Spirit’ would make it to the screens on the 14th of June.
