In the Retro Music Gems section, we feature today a real gem from 1979; the song that goes ‘Do Lafzon Ki Hain Kahaani’ from the film ‘The Great Gambler’. The film starred Amitabh Bachchan and Zeenat Aman in the lead roles and was directed by Shakti Samantha.

The song that was rendered to perfection by Asha Bhonsle was set to tune by R D Burman, and has remained a huge hit in the minds of music lovers in the country. The film might not have been a box office hit, but the song has attained a cult status almost, and would be remembered for a long time to come!
