Ever since the news of a sequel to the hit film ‘Aashiqui’ started doing the rounds, the big questions that was being asked is who would star in the sequel?

The names that have finally been announced have come as a surprise, and ‘Aashiqui 2′ would star Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles. Shraddha happens to be the daughter of actor Shakti Kapoor. She  had made her acting debut in 2010 with ‘Teen Patti’ opposite R Madhavan.

Adtiya Roy Kapur, on the other hand, happens to be the brother of UTV Motion Pictures CEO Siddharth Roy Kapur. He had made his debut in Bollywood with the Vipul Shah film ‘London Dreams’. He had also later made an appearance in films like ‘Action Replayy’ and ‘Guzaarish’.
