Shamna Kasim to be ‘Poomathai Ponnamma’

Shamna Kasim had landed on the plumpest of roles when she had done the title role in the film ‘Chattakkari’. However, the film did no wonders for her career.

Now, the actress has gone ahead and signed a female oriented film that has been titled by ‘Poomathai Ponnamma’. What’s more, the film will have Suresh Gopi’s brother Sunil Gopi making his film debut.

The film will be scripted by T P Rajeevan, on whose story, Ranjith’s film ‘Palery Manickyam’ was based. It would be directed by Rajesh Vallil.
