Bollywood Box Office: Would ‘Dabangg 2′ rake in 200 crore?

Submitted by on January 1, 2013 – 8:01 pmNo Comment | 65 views

Now what we hear of ‘Dabangg 2′ is simply mind blowing. The Salman Khan starrer was touted to be a winner at the box office all right, but that it would turn out to be this huge a hit in such a short time was probably unanticipated.

From what we hear, ‘Dabangg 2′ has raked in 126 crore as it races through the second week. If that isn’t reason for celebration for Salman Khan fans, then we wonder what is! The film has been directed by Arbaaz Khan and has Sonakshi Sinha playing Salman’s heroine. And with ‘Dabangg 2′, Salman Khan further reestablishes his status as the ultimate box office king!

However trade pundits predict that the film is unlikely to touch the 200 crore mark, as collections have started to slow down a bit due to several external factors, the major one being the Indo-Pak cricket series.
