Finally having gained a censor certificate, Jayan Cherian’s debut feature film ‘Papilio Buddha’ would grace the screens in Kerala pretty soon. Here are the posters of the film that has been long involved in a tussle with the Censor Board, after the Board had decided not to issue the film a censor certificate citing visuals and dialogues denigrating iconic leaders including Mahatma Gandhi, E. M. S. Namboodiripad and Ayyankali apart from visuals of extreme violence and extreme torture of women by police.  The makers had protested against the decision of the Board, and finally the film seems headed for the screens.
