Mohanlal’s Rajesh Pillai film ‘Gold’ had raised much expectations right from the time of its announcement.

The film was expected to start its shoot later this year. Shankar Ramakrishnan, who was to script the film has now revealed that another film titled ‘Rebecca Uthup Kizhakkemala’ that stars Ann Augustine in the lead role has a story that has an uncanny resemblance to ‘Gold’.

The director of the film Sundar Das however says that the story of ‘Rebecca Uthup’ has been in his mind for long, and that he had initially planned the film with Bhavana in mind. Looks like a controversy is in the making. Watch this space for more details.
