Rohan (Arjun Mathur), a young medical intern who dared to dream was in awe of Dr. Asthana (Kay Kay Menon), the Chief of Surgery of the Shekhawat General Hospital. However, when an eight year old boy, Ankur dies due to Dr. Asthana’s medical negligence, Rohan realises that a good surgeon is not necessarily a good person. Together with Ankur’s mother Nandita, Rohan sets out on a turbulent journey to fight for what is right. A fight for justice against his mentor, the hospital and the love of his life.

The shooting of the film started after nearly one year of research and similarities to real life are in this case, not coincidental. The film besides Arjun and Kay Kay also stars Vishakha Singh, Tisca Chopra and Paoli Dam in key roles. The film is expected to grace the screens on the 1st of March.

IBN Live thinks that the film has a confused script: “‘Life Ki Toh Lag Gayi’ is slow but that’s not the prime concern. It doesn’t convey anything which was expected from a film with four characters carrying four separate notions. An amalgamation of emotions, ‘Life Ki Toh Lag Gayi’ lacks the punch, and one can find it tough to look at the screen throughout the film.”

DNA India feels the film is best avoided: “The director, screenplay and dialogue writer Mehta chooses to place the stories in Mumbai, but except for paying lip service to its ghost, does nothing to involve the viewer. Usual suspects Gateway of India, BSE building, VT station make easy cameos as representatives of Mumbai. There’s no reason to go pay and watch them on the big screen. Life Ki Toh Lag Gayi is best avoided.”

Rediff affirms that the film lacks imagination: “Worst of all, this is a film that will be remembered for two things: casting Razak Khan against type as a suave prince, and more shockingly, the heroine uttering the unutterable, vis-à-vis screen baddie Shakti Kapoor “That man looks so innocent.” What a terribly boring time spent at the movies.”

The screenplay has been penned by Rakesh Mehta and the musical score has been composed by Vinay Jaiswal. The fim has been produced under the banner of K Sera K Sera Box Office Pvt. Ltd. & V.M.Final Cut Ent.Pvt.Ltd.

‘Life Ki Toh Lag Gayi’ is a one day journey of four different people struggling in the city of Mumbai. One with vengeance, one on a mission, one with hope and one to con.. They eventually ends up at one place and finds their ways. A film that depends on a solid script and its performances to tell a very valid story, ‘Life Ki To Lag Gayi’ would release on the 20th of April, 2012.

DNAIndia says this Bazaar is not worth a visit: “Bhindi Bazaar Inc is one such product whose packaging is attractive, but the real stuff turns out to be damp squib.It’s certainly no ‘risk’ to miss out on the momentary thrills that Bhindi Bazaar offers. If you’re not a hopeless Mumbai freak in search of these, stay at home, sip a cup of chai and enjoy the rains.”

This is a failing formula, feels Rediff: “Ultimately, no part of the script ever matures into a full-fledged hook. There are moments when things seem to be looking up and it appears as if Bhindi Baazaar has finally found its footing. But it never does. All that is left eventually is a residue of aimless, incomplete bits.”

Koimoi laments the predictability of the film: “Except for a couple of twists in the tale, there is hardly anything which one has not seen in an earlier film. Also, the drama is quite predicatble. Even the raw dialogues (Ghalib Asad Bhopali) of the film don’t hold much weight because one has heard similar dialogues in several earlier films.”

Rediff says the sequel is hollow and brain numbing: “Where the film required an overall evolution, it remains a recycled version of its predecessor, barely going anywhere relying hands-off on Pathak’s poorly timed futility. Apart from being pathetically foreseeable, the story even reaches stagnation at one point.”

The film lives up to its name, feels DNAIndia: “Bheja Fry 2 lives up to its name, deep-frying your head with its bland existence two times over. Bellary has said in an interview that he wasn’t keen on Bheja Fry 3. Thank God for small mercies.”

Hindustan Times finds that the plot has gone missing: “The sequel’s forced the filmmakers to look for a plot on their own. I’m not sure if they did find one eventually. At least I can’t quite find it in the film.”

The film stars Kay Kay Menon, Piyush Mishra, Prashant Narayanan, Pawan Malhotra, Shilpa Shukla, Vedita Pratap Singh, Caterina Lopez, Gautam Sharma,
Shweta Verma and Deepthi Naval in key roles. The technical department of the film is equally impressive with some of the best technicians joining hands for the film.

Bhindi Baazaar Inc. has been written by Ghalib Asad Bhopali and Kapil Gulati. The cinematography is by Ramshreyas Rao and Viraj Singh.
