Nowrunning finds it heading for disaster: “‘Mohabbat’ suffers from all the standards perils of an outdated romantic tale. Everything – ranging from the long-dead story to the hackneyed situations, the uninspiring characters to the banal climax – is there in this desperate-looking flick that’s not much fun.”

Sify says its notmuch more than a music video: “Can you watch a music video in bright colours that is all about silly romance, irritating comedy scenes, melodrama and more melodrama, for more than two hours?Director East Coast Vijayan has churned up a film that looks glossy at times, but with a rather outdated and highly predictable storyline.”

Rediff finds it disappointing: “On the whole, Mohabbath is a film that works in bits and pieces but does not deserve to be called a Meera Jasmine film. So, it ends up being a disappointing venture.”
